Top Ghats of Varanasi

Dashashwamedh Ghat is the most famous and vibrant ghat of Varanasi. It is the main venue for the grand Ganga Aarti and lies close to the Kashi Vishwanath Temple, attracting thousands of devotees every day.

Assi Ghat is popular among tourists, students, and spiritual seekers. Known for the beautiful Subah-e-Banaras morning aarti, it offers a peaceful atmosphere with yoga sessions, cafés, music, and scenic river views.

Manikarnika Ghat is one of the oldest and holiest cremation ghats in India. It holds deep spiritual significance as it is believed to grant moksha. Photography is restricted here due to rituals.

Harishchandra Ghat is another ancient cremation site associated with the legendary King Harishchandra. It reflects the timeless spiritual traditions of Varanasi and is considered very sacred.
